Head of EMEA Sales Development
Nutanix is building a world-class Sales Development organization, and we are looking for a transformational leader to head our EMEA team from our Sales Centre of Excellence in Barcelona. You will play a pivotal role in scaling a high-performance engine that generates sales pipeline across all EMEA regions while cultivating the next generation of sales talent.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven strategist who balances high-level program building with tactical execution, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of sales innovation - specifically through the integration of AI-driven efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Talent: Lead a team of 10+ SDR Representatives, overseeing hiring, professional development, and performance evaluations.
  • AI & Efficiency: Modernize prospecting and sales workflows by coaching the team on AI-driven sales development best practices to maximize productivity and outreach personalization.
  • Strategic Execution: Develop and manage team performance against quotas, forecasts, and headcount while maintaining the Operating Plan within budget.
  • Pipeline Generation: Meet and exceed targets for opportunity generation and bookings across all EMEA regions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Regional VPs, Marketing, Enablement, and Channels to implement targeted campaigns across diverse market segments.
  • Forecasting & Data: Provide accurate weekly SDR forecasts and track all sales activity leveraging SFDC.
  • Career Pathing: Drive a career-development framework that prepares SDRs for future roles as Account Executives or Subscription Account Managers.
 
About You
  • Proven Leadership: 2+ years of Sales management experience with a track record of leading high-performing teams across various European countries.
  • AI Expertise: Deep experience leveraging AI tools for sales development (e.g., automated prospecting, personalizing at scale, and predictive analytics) to drive team efficiency.
  • Strategic Mindset: A deep understanding of predictable revenue models, value selling practices, and Enterprise sales methodologies.
  • Analytical Rigor: A structured thinker who is obsessed with data and uses it to influence outcomes.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A reputation for being innovative, accountable, and reliable when working with cross-functional partners.

Work Arrangement
 
  • Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
